The New Century Arms BFT47 is an American built AK with a thicker bulged RPK style receiver and trunnion. This model is chambered in the iconic 7.62x39mm cartridge and the 16″ barrel is made from 4150 chrome moly steel. The barrel is threaded 14×1 left hand and with an enhanced safety selector, enlarged magazine release and scope rail you have all the upgrades someone would want to have on a factory built rifle. In addition to all the desirable features of the BFT47, this special edition Veteran model of the BFT47 also helps out our American heroes. Working in conjunction with the Josh Pallotta Fund, Century Arms donates a portion of the proceeds from every rifle sold in order to help prevent veteran suicide to make sure our beloved veterans remain with us. The BFT47 Veteran sports beautiful high quality red American hardwood furniture which features a Veteran logo engraved on the stock.
